Character Collages!

This is the first artwork this year for my 8th Graders. They really impressed me and exceeded my expectations with their collages!
The Process: First each student chose an animated character and draw the outline on tagboard. To keo the design interesting They drew close-ups of their character. Once they had the outline they searched through recycled magazines for the colors they needed. All of their pieces needed to be less than 1 inch, which proved to be a challenge for many students. I think these have turned out so awesome, they really impressed me!
